Ella Jackson | 19 | Pansexual |

Background: Ella Jackson was always a spunky, fiery child. She was always fierce, once when she was young, the neighborhood bully had made fun of her, and by the time she was finished with him he had been running home crying with a bloody nose and a chunk of his hair missing. She’d always gotten in trouble when she was little for her no-shit taken personality, but her parents had always been proud that their little girl knew how to take care of herself. Her twin sister Violet had been exactly the opposite, a shy, fragile girl that had no sense of assertiveness and was always walked all over. Because of this, and because El loved her sister more than anyone else, she’d spent a great deal of her childhood keeping bullies and other awful people from doing anything to Violet. They’d been the best of friends, Violet like air, and Ella like fire. They’d done everything together, from exploring the woods in their backyard together to making their mother hot chocolate when she was sick (which happened often, sadly.) They spent their entire childhood years with one another by their sides, growing up into beautiful young woman together.
But once they reached high school, the time came that Ella couldn’t keep all of the bad in the world away from Violet. Sure, a little bit of El’s fierceness had rubbed off on her over the years, but it wasn’t enough to protect her from everything. She’d fallen in love, with a girl, and the feelings had been returned after a while, so they two had begun to date. Ella was thrilled for her sister, but was also scared for her because many people picked on her for being a lesbian. The night of their Junior Prom, Violet and her now longtime girlfriend had been dragged out behind the school and beaten. By the time that someone had found them, it was too late for a. Her girlfriend had ended up surviving but that was the day that Ella had lost her best friend, her sister, and the one person that she’d ever been able to count on.
Currently: As soon as her senior year ended, Violet took off for London, where she currently resides. She isn’t in school, and hasn’t even made up her mind as to whether or not she wants to even attend. She’s still fierce as hell, but is still Violet. Haunted by some nightmares of her sister. She’s been working as a bar, trying to work her way through her grief while trying to find someone to connect with as well. She’s turned to alcohol, cutting, and drugs even, to try and fill the gaping hole that Vi left behind in her life. She doesn’t know how anything will ever get better, but she can’t help but grasp onto a sliver of hope that it somehow will.
Other things to know: El is a cutter, as mentioned before. She wishes that she could have been there to stop the people from killing her sister, and the survivor’s guilt that she has from that is immense. Her life is kind of crappy at the moment, she doesn’t have very many friends, or at all, really. A bartender is the perfect job though, because she doesn’t take shit from anyone and will deal with anyone who tries properly.

Background: Elizabeth Paige was the type of girl that knew how to get what she wanted. As a child, she figured out that crying would get her anything she desired. And when she grew older and that didn’t work anymore, she found out all the other ways that could get her what she needed, whether it be blackmail, friendship, sex, ‘love’, or whatever. Every girl wanted to be her, and every guy wanted her. It was exactly how she wanted it, or so she thought. She was popular, smart, and gorgeous, and was extremely manipulative but covered it up so well that no one even knew that she was doing it. A cunning young lady, she was, a snake. But in everyone else’s eyes she was the perfect little angel. Not even her parents noticed her ways, and it was exactly how she planned it. She went through high school as a queen, with a boy on her arm and a smirk on her face. And when she graduated, it was as top of her class with a full scholarship to King’s College in England. It was the life she had always planned for herself, and nothing had ever gotten in her way.
Currently: Elizabeth, occasionally “Effy”, is living in London and attending the University of her dreams. She lives in a luxurious apartment, and parties every single night until dawn. She’s had plenty of flings with attractive men, and everything should feel perfect. But it doesn’t, and she doesn’t understand why. There’s something missing, something that alcohol and sex can’t fill. She wants someone to love her, but she has no clue how to make that happen. The only thing she knows how to do is manipulate, not to let someone in. She’s used to being a mystery, someone who never let someone in so as not to be abandoned.
Other Things to Know: Elizabeth is not aware of her sexuality in the slightest. (I think that this can give the roleplayer that takes her a chance to have ‘the best of both worlds’ as she figures it out.) She does know that something feels entirely wrong about sleeping with all of these guys, but she’s not aware that it’s because she isn’t even attracted to them. She has a few friends here, but no one really knows who she is because of her paranoia that they’ll hurt her.

Background: Michael Williams was always a daring child. He was the type of kid that was always doing something, whether it be eating fried ants for a dare or climbing to the top of the tallest tree on the block. He was rather popular for his exploits as a small child, making friends with almost every kid around because of how ‘cool’ they thought he was. His parents loved him to pieces, even if they didn’t quite understand his adrenaline-seeking nature, and he had a good and normal life growing up. And as he got older, that life changed a bit, but it was still good and relatively average. He was happy, and that was good. He was less adventurous, but he was still popular and was never seen without a girl to call his own. He developed a habit of always telling the absolute truth to someone, and many of his fellow classmates actually took advantage of that fact by asking him questions that they wanted honest opinions about. And opinionated he was, many times he’d even correct the teachers about certain subjects because of his own opinions. They didn’t mind that much, though, because he was a smart kid that ended up graduating third in his class and heading off to King’s College with a hefty scholarship.
Currently:
Michael is enjoying his life here in London, making some friends, scoping out the female population. He works at a small cafe in the middle of the city, using the money that he makes there to pay for his cozy apartment as well as his other needs. He loves to party, and goes out to clubs a lot to try and meet girls. That part succeeds, but usually it ends up being just a one night stand, and not someone that will stick. That’s what he wants, a permanent fixture in his life. He needs a girl that will stick around.
Other Things to Know: Michael sometimes prefers to go by ‘Mike’, but it’s not very often. He keeps in touch with his family on occasion, after all, he is an only child. (No relation to Dylan Williams, as well). He loves to party and get drunk, but avoids drugs. He is still a rather brutally honest person, and loves to take any challenge that is thrown his way.

Background: Derrick grew up in a privileged American home. His house was large, with the stereotypical white picket fence surrounding it. His father was the bread winner, and his mother stayed at home to tend after Derrick and his younger sister. Essentially, he comes from a picture perfect family. Derrick, as well, is the picture perfect son. He achieved amazing grades throughout his school years, coming out the top of his class. He’s always trying to do that right thing, and be a stand up citizen. Which is exactly what and who he is. He’s incredibly sweet, and caring, and looks after people. That doesn’t stop him from having some fun every once in a while. He definitely knows how to do that. His father always wanted him to go to Yale, a prestigious Ivy League post-secondary school, but Derrick wanted to travel, wanted to see the world. That’s the only thing he and his father have ever disagreed on in his entire life, and it ended in Derrick packing up and moving to London as part of his travels.
Present: Derrick, now living in the wonderful city of London, is pursuing his own dreams, based on what he wants to do, not what his father had planned for him. He currently has a job at a Bar in London. He’s perfectly happy working a nightshift job to cover his living expenses, because he feels he is in the right place. Besides, he likes talking to people, and he likes helping people with their problems. And what better way to do that than by working in a bar, pouring drinks for people with problems, and listening to what they have to say. As for what he actually wishes to do with his life, he’s not entirely sure. However, he does eventually want to go to school, and continue his education. That will be then. He’s in a ‘in the moment’ mindset right now.
Other Things To Know: Derrick is quick at making new friends. Something about his charming personality and his ability to talk to people. His persona is also very approachable, and people usually flock to him. He doesn’t mind this at all, he likes talking to other people.
